About the Thomson Reuters Marketing Team 

Thomson Reuters’ Marketing Team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and effective integrated marketing campaigns across a range of industry-leading products, focused on delivering value for our tax and accounting professionals. This role is responsible for setting the strategic approach, planning and prioritization for Thomson Reuters tax and accounting products, specifically SafeSend and SurePrep, delivering on unique customer needs to ultimately drive sales, revenue, and growth.  

This high-impact leadership role requires a strategic builder who can own the entire growth engine, from identifying high-potential markets and channels to designing and executing multi-channel campaigns, digital activities, events, and integrated marketing programs. This role will have full end-to-end responsibilities for delivering the marketing plans, strategy and targets associated with SafeSend and SurePrep, leading a team of cross-functional marketers, and working collaboratively across Sales, Product, Finance, Comms, Customer Success, and others. This role requires strong growth and performance marketing skillset, digital acumen, innovative and integrated campaign planning abilities, cross-functional leadership skills, and a self-starter mindset.  

About the Role 

In this opportunity as the Director - Marketing for SafeSend and SurePrep 

  • Full stack marketing leader who can drive seamlessly across teams. 

  • Build integrated full funnel campaigns, encompassing breakthrough positioning, messaging and creative assets, to drive awareness and consideration through the funnel  

  • Lead, mentor, and influence a high-performing team across product marketing, content. marketing, comms, events/FM/ABM, focused on sales growth and revenue. 

  • Define and own a multifaceted demand generation strategy, aligning with company goals and sales objectives for these two priority tax and accounting products.  

  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget, allocate resources based on quantitative performance analysis, identify and scale top-performing levers.  

  • Build a rigorous performance marketing and ABM program with clear attribution models, forecasting, and ROI tracking.  

  • Partner with business and Sales to co-own marketing analytics, identify KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to provide actionable, data-driven insights across marketing, sales, and customer success.  

  • Establish relationships across the organization to bring programs to life through strong product-led expertise and deep marketing knowledge. 

  • Embrace and experiment with cutting-edge, AI-powered marketing tools and processes.  

About You 

  • Must be based in and around Minneapolis, Dallas, Ann Arbor, New York, or Toronto CA. 

  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, demand gen, with deep understanding of marketing frameworks and full channel mix activation 

  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred 

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization 

  • Strong e-commerce, paid and organic digital experience and CX thinking a plus; deep understanding of modern demand generation technologies, platforms and systems. 

  • Tax, audit or accounting background a plus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
