Job Summary
AmeriLife is seeking an experienced and hands-on Director, IT – Workflow Platforms to own the enterprise delivery, governance, and operational success of its workflow application platform internally branded as Workbench. This role is accountable for ensuring the platform effectively supports business workflow automation needs while meeting enterprise standards for scalability, security, compliance, and operational excellence.Job Description
Workbench is delivered on a low-code/no-code workflow platform. This position serves as the IT Platform Owner, responsible for platform strategy, disciplined SDLC execution, production support, and vendor-led delivery oversight.
This role will initially function as a senior individual contributor, with enterprise-wide accountability for platform outcomes. Development and operational execution are delivered primarily through matrixed internal teams and external service integrators, requiring strong stakeholder leadership, vendor management, and technical depth without direct hands-on configuration ownership. The role is expected to evolve into people leadership as the platform footprint and internal capabilities expand.
