What You'll Do
The Director, Insights & Forecasting, International will report to the Head of Commercial Operations, International. This individual will lead insights generation workstreams regionally and locally to support strategic business decisions and organizational success across the BridgeBio portfolio. Also, the candidate will lead all competitive intelligence and forecasting workstreams across the BridgeBio portfolio for Ex-US activities, including demand planning. The candidate understands that information and data are key business assets and will lead the generation, integration and interpretation of data and analytics to deliver optimal business performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Insight Generation
- Own the International market research plan; advise your stakeholders on blind spots or areas of opportunity that would lend themselves to further investigation or study
- Contribute to the formulation of product strategy, in conjunction with therapy area teams to ensure that maximum return is obtained from the development and commercialization of products
- Deploy various primary market research techniques to answer critical business questions and to provide performance and market-based insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead strategic research and promotional launch campaign market research to support asset launch planning, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches as needed and across geographies in scope
- Ensure all market research activities comply with internal SOPs, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines
Competitive Intelligence
- Lead the International competitive intelligence (CI) framework and processes, ensuring systematic collection and dissemination of competitive insights
- Triangulate across all sources of market insights, including competitive and field intelligence, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders gathering those insights as appropriate, to bring a holistic perspective on the pulse of the market and the competitive dynamics (including signals from congresses, regulatory milestones and clinical data releases)
- Support situational analyses and strategic planning cycles with an objective market viewpoint
- Select and manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors in insights and CI to understand market trends, overseeing timely and high-quality delivery
Forecasting
- Triangulate across insights to inform and create the in-depth long-range product forecast in international markets for our assets, leverage inpatient/epi-based forecasting expertise to optimize funnel structure and develop assumption inputs. Ensure forecast functionality meets Commercial team needs
- Build and enable functions to support accurate short-term forecasting to ensure outstanding performance measurement and ambitious yet realistic goal setting
- Ensure functional governance around forecasting process across International region
- Collaborate with BD/Corp Dev and other key cross-functional stakeholders
Demand Planning
- Lead product demand planning workstreams across all affiliates to ensure timely and accurate product ordering and distribution
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain to accurately reflect current thinking on performance and demand uptake
Data and Reporting
- Manage the day-to-day commercial performance reporting and KPI trackers
- Partner closely cross-functionally and with sub-regional commercial teams to ensure KPIUs and other performance tracking measures reflect the range of business insight requirements
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations; deliver compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
- Manage the implementation of any sales tracking improvements or analytics initiative
- Actively seek new commercial data sources and data sets that could be of benefit and support their evaluation and implementation

Where You'll Work
- The role is based in Zug, Switzerland. The candidate should be based in Switzerland. No relocation is offered
- Travel (15-20%) may be required to represent the company at medical conferences, presentations, and other meetings
Who You Are
- BA or BS; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10+years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, including 5 years in a Commercial Insight in regional roles (Preferably EMEA)
- Expertise in a range of qualitative and quantitative market research approaches to be deployed to support products throughout their lifecycle (development, launch readiness, post-launch)
- Experience in promotional campaign research (HCP and patient)
- Expertise in inpatient/epi-based forecasting and flow models, incorporating segments, promotional investment scenarios, and uncertainty analysis.
- A demonstrated ability to recruit and develop talented individuals.
- Skilled at clearly communicating insight as well as the implications and recommendations distilled from the analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and evolving environment.
- Strong project management skills—the ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Intellectually curious, seeks and evaluates innovative approaches.
- Experience in the rare disease space preferred
- Specialty product launch experience in the EMEA and beyond; rare disease therapeutic launch highly preferred
- Ability to lead by example, build partnerships and cross-functional collaborations with open communication, constructive feedback, and organizational flexibility
