Director Global Oncology Market Access – 2nd brand and Pricing

The Director Global Oncology Market Access, will have GMAx responsibilities for the launch and lifecycle management for the 2nd brand of our company's immuno-oncology product pricing approval request process. As a GMAx lead, the candidate would need to synthesize extensive and complex information from internal and external insights to independently formulate the market access considerations, deliver a concise market access narrative, and lead discussion in key forums to support the lifecycle management strategy for the 2nd brand of our company's immuno-oncology product price approval request process to enable appropriate patient access.

The candidate will work closely with the Human Health organization and Value and Implementation teams to ensure we have the appropriate product positioning, impact assessment of competitive pricing/access activities and launch readiness for the 2nd brand. The candidate will also work in close collaboration with the Regional Market Access teams, Global Pricing and senior leaders to ensure the Price Action Request process compliance.

The position will include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Actively collaborate with the global functions including but not limited to Oncology Global Market Access and Pricing Team, Oncology Global Marketing team, Oncology US Marketing, HH International, Global Pricing, Value and Implementation Teams, Policy, Regional Market Access teams, SAS to provide critical market access viewpoints across stakeholder workstreams.

  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams to develop payer value proposition and scientific narrative for the 2nd brand of our company product.

  • Develop and implement a 2nd brand of our immuno-oncology product framework.

  • Partner closely with markets to ensure 2nd brand of our immuno-oncology product's launch readiness.

  • Monitor Oncology global competitors and comparator prices and strategy.

  • Regional engagements and workshops.

  • Review and analyze proposals to establish and update both local list and net prices via the Price Action Request process to ensure pricing guidance compliance.

  • Work with Regional Market Access and the GRL from pricing, access, policy and commercial key stakeholders to provide appropriate global guidance.

  • Present the aligned pricing proposals to various senior leaders for review and decisions.

  • Act as oncology Pricing partner on pricing issues for key regional & country teams.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree - Business or Science related discipline.

  • Master's degree (MBA/MS) or other post-graduate Degree (preferred).

Required Knowledge and Skill:

  • Oncology including knowledge on the clinical development space.

  • At least 5 years of experience in pricing/reimbursement, marketing, market research, outcomes research or managed markets or business development.

  • Knowledgeable about product development and commercialization process.

  • Relevant functional area experience in product launch.

  • Understanding of the global payer environment and perspectives.

  • Proven success working within large and complex strategic initiatives.

  • Experience successfully leading cross functional matrix teams.

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Strong project management and implementation/operational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong commercial orientation and business acumen.

  • Strategic thinking and integration skills.

  • Experience in pricing process management (preferred)

  • Experience in launching 2nd brand or different route of administration such as SC (preferred)

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • 7 years in oncology and/or market access & pricing and business development

  • Market access and product launch experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
