What You’ll Do 

Authentic Brands Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Systems to lead our business systems team. The Director of Business Systems will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our business systems and processes to support the company's strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise in business systems management.

What you’ll be working on

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of business systems, including ERP, Financial Planning, Contract Lifecycle Management, CRM, Digital Asset Management, and other enterprise applications, to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Ensure AI capabilities are thoughtfully integrated into every initiative—enhancing automation, decision-making, and user productivity. Identify practical use cases, govern responsible adoption, and partner with stakeholders to operationalize AI in ways that deliver measurable business value.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective system solutions
  • Manage and mentor a team of business systems analysts, administrators, and developers to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and policies for business systems development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in business systems and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, Ecomm, and Sales, to align business systems initiatives with organizational goals
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions to address issues and enhance system reliability
  • Develop and manage the business systems budget, including resource planning, cost estimation, and vendor management
  • Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions
  • Participates in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contract

Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
    • 10 years of experience in business systems management or a related role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities
    • Strong technical expertise in ERP, Financial Planning systems, Digital Asset Management systems, and other business systems, with proficiency in system design, development, and integration
    • Proven leadership skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
    • Stakeholder management
    • Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Strong technical ability including report creation
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize

Primary Location Salary Range:

$175,000 - $200,000
