What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the eCRM Enablement team and reporting to the Senior Director, Frontline Analytics & Insights, the Director, Frontline Analytics & Insights – Specialized Advice, will provide consulting, analysis, and insights to influence and lead the development, implementation, and management of strategies and programs supporting the Specialized Advice team within Personal Banking. The Director enables outcome-based data-driven decisions, ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of program recommendations and long-range operations. The Director provides analytical direction and decision support for retail channel performance and workforce optimization, leading a high performing team focused on advanced analytics, consultation, and strategic program development. You will identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and lead the transformation from static reporting to self-serve dashboards, enabling proactive insights that inform business and channel strategies. Additionally, you are mandated to deliver timely and impactful insights that drive business outcomes, while championing modernization and transformation initiatives to elevate analytics capabilities and operational effectiveness across the organization.

How You’ll Succeed
Leadership - Lead a team of analytics experts to support revenue generation and cost reduction strategies to oversee the application of advanced analytical methods to sales effectiveness, defining and implementing key initiatives. Provide post-analysis support for Channel Optimization and ensure comprehensive measurement of all distribution channels. Deploy modeling, predictive analytics, and advanced statistical techniques to enhance decision-making. Build team and individual capabilities through development opportunities and performance management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and fostering collaboration to achieve business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, effectively communicating insights, managing expectations, and driving consensus across cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Ensure all analytics initiatives and campaign strategies comply with mortgage industry regulations and internal policies by continuously monitoring changes in regulatory requirements, collaborating with legal and compliance teams, and integrating compliance checkpoints into analytics workflows. Provide subject matter expertise on mortgage business processes to guide data-driven decision-making, mitigate risk, and support the development of compliant, effective marketing offers and campaigns.
Cross-functional collaborations - Collaborate cross-functionally to influence strategic direction and support sales strategies. Collaborate with distribution teams, marketing analytics, digital channels, and internal teams to influence strategy and execution. Lead development of consultants by aligning roles with business priorities, fostering growth, and managing performance. Collaborate with senior leaders to influence investment decisions and co-lead strategic committees.
Strategic framework development - Develop, recommend, and implement strategic frameworks, policies, and tactics with significant impact on the business group. Assess business needs and opportunities, conceptualizing pathways to achieve organizational goals. Ensure synchronization of objectives, resources, and timing across programs and activities.
Operational excellence - Lead the design and delivery of campaign programs, acting as a single point of contact for specialized sales initiatives. Support Specialized Advice Leaders in resolving complex challenges through analysis and expert guidance. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to influence strategic priorities and facilitate decision-making. Review, refine, and develop programs related to specialization. Develop work plans, establish objectives, and ensure efficient design and implementation of initiatives. Monitor performance of strategies, policies, and programs, recommending changes as needed.
Analysis & Advisory for Channel Strategy - Provide authoritative analysis and guidance to senior management, ensuring understanding and acceptance of issues. Maintain strong understanding of channel strategy trends and best practices. Prepare and present reports on significant trends, supporting high-level recommendations.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 5 to 9 years of work experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven marketing, preferably within financial services or mortgage lending and advanced presentation skills to executive audiences, supporting recommendations with data-driven insights. Experience with Tableau, SAS, SQL.
You can demonstrate 2 to 5 years of work experience building consensus and inspiring and influencing stakeholders and cross functional teams at all levels. Collaborative mindset to build relationships and drive consensus within a large matrixed organization, fostering alignment and driving cross-functional initiatives. It’s an asset if you understand mortgage, financial planning and/or investment products, customer segmentation, and campaign performance metrics.
You can demonstrate 6 to 9 years of work experience in strategic planning and implementation, managing multiple objectives and projects with effective judgment in prioritization and time allocation. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
