Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as GE HealthCare’s enterprise PPM expert with end-to-end knowledge of portfolio road mapping, investment management, resource planning, real-time reporting, and configurable workflows to ensure a scalable and high-performing system.
  • Provide strategic guidance on PPM configuration, customization, and alignment with GE HealthCare business processes so that workflows enable rather than hinder portfolio execution.
  • Act as the central liaison between Segments and STO for structure changes, value stream mapping, and impact assessments, improving organizational coherence and reducing rework.
  • Provide strategic analysis and insights on R&D programs using PPM data to drive informed portfolio decisions and identify opportunities for improved performance.
  • Enable analysis of cycle time, business case adherence, and lifecycle progression to support future AI-augmented R&D practices and improve predictability of program outcomes.
  • Proactively deliver insights from PPM data, including comparisons of Lighthouse NPI’s (GE HealthCare’s most important) and all NPI programs, to identify trends, risks, and execution gaps before they impact the business.
  • Develop, maintain, and globally deploy SOPs, process maps, and user guidance while ensuring that enterprise standards do not conflict with decentralized operating models and that segments retain appropriate autonomy.
  • Partner with IMS Tools Senior Director, WWPP Finance, IT, and segment leaders to create standard work for portfolio governance and operational mechanisms that improve consistency and transparency.
  • Define and build a global superuser network, including certification programs, training pathways, and expert forums, to scale PPM capability across GE HealthCare and reduce reliance on central support teams.
  • Drive new user onboarding, enterprise training, and usability improvements to increase adoption of best-known operating practices and accelerate time to productivity.
  • Continuously benchmark and integrate best practices from MedTech, enterprise PMOs, and Broadcom Clarity resources to ensure GE HealthCare maintains world-class PPM standards and remains competitive.
  • Support pre-M0 through M9 execution with standardized project structures, investment hierarchy guidance, workflows, and dashboards that improve portfolio predictability and decision accuracy.
  • Ensure data quality, system governance, and operating discipline across all PPM users and segments, strengthening trust in portfolio data and enabling reliable enterprise reporting.
  • Lead continuous improvement cycles to simplify configuration, improve reporting accuracy, and deliver stronger strategic portfolio insights that inform enterprise-level planning.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise project/portfolio management, PMO leadership, IT systems ownership, or similar roles.
  • Hands‑on expertise with enterprise PPM systems (preferably Broadcom Clarity PPM) including configuration, workflows, and reporting.
  • Strong experience in process design, SOP creation, value‑stream mapping, and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional change and driving standard work across global organizations.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Recognized expert in project/portfolio management systems with strong understanding of MedTech innovation lifecycles.
  • Ability to translate complex processes into simple, intuitive user experiences and training programs.
  • Strong communicator capable of influencing executives, IT architects, and engineering teams.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to align tool usage to business outcomes, financial discipline, and innovation priorities.
  • Passion for operational excellence, standardization, and enabling teams to deliver with clarity and confidence.
