About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Enterprise Data Management to lead the strategic evolution of our organization’s data practices, especially as we transition to building an AI-first organization. This critical leadership role will focus on designing and implementing scalable and secure frameworks for ethical, data and analytics operations that advance data security, governance, and innovative applications of artificial intelligence to deliver actionable insights. Your work will enable the organization to harness data and AI as competitive advantages, safeguard critical assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with global regulations while driving our commitment to responsible innovation.
As the leader of Enterprise Data Management, you will work cross-functionally to strengthen our organization's data infrastructure, integrate robust data management capabilities into our analytics operations, and operationalize rigorous governance processes that help scale AI responsibly. With 15+ years of experience in managing complex, enterprise-grade data ecosystems, you will bring a strategic vision, technical expertise, and a proven track record of implementing world-class data governance, AI-driven analytics frameworks, and security programs that unlock business value on a transformative scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Security & Governance
Leverage security tools and partner with the CISO, Legal, and Technology teams to define and implement a comprehensive data security strategy, safeguarding intellectual property and sensitive data assets.
Define and implement data governance policies to prevent unauthorized activity and ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001).
Spearhead the integration of real-time monitoring and anomaly detection systems, strengthening accountability and responsiveness across the organization.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams to align data risk management strategies and implement metrics and reporting frameworks to track the real-time impact of risk mitigation strategies on business outcomes.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
15+ years of leadership experience in data & analytics, AI governance, and risk management within enterprise-level organizations.
Proven expertise in designing and operationalizing enterprise-scale AI and data governance frameworks that deliver measurable business value.
Deep knowledge of AI ethics and global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, SOC2, ISO 27001), with experience integrating AI compliance measures.
Strong track record of leading data and analytics transformations in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a focus on AI-powered analytics platforms.

The annual base pay for this position is: $207,200.00 - $310,800.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
