Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

You can be part of a small development team within a high-growth startup. As we are scaling the company, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can help us expanding and consolidating our existing micro-services infrastructure. The perfect candidate would be an experienced backend developer, with experience in Go, NodeJS, PHP, relational databases, distributed system and security.

 Role and Responsibilities:

• Improve, expand, scale and consolidate the current backend architecture of Akiflow
• Develop new rest APIs for internal and external usage
• Develop new integrations with third parties, maintain and expand the existing ones
• Develop new internal tools
• Work on improving the security level of Akiflow
• Contribute to defining the software lifecycle of the app
• Understand the goals of Akiflow and be proactive in suggesting innovative features and solutions
• Very occasionally interact with customers to triage bugs

Knowledge and Skills

• 6+ year in backend development
• NodeJS Go and PHP (Laravel)
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational database and caching systems.
• Knowledge of unix-based systems, docker and kubernates
• Experience in cloud services (GCP, AWS or others)
• Experience in building and consuming rest API and OAuth2.
• Experience in scaling infrastructures
• Experience in software development, algorithms, data structures, etc.
• Knowledge about monitoring and logging tools
• Subversioning system (git)
• Strong spirit of collaboration
• Flexible, can-do attitude.
• Precision and care for UX/UI.
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
