WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive hotel bookings, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will work closely with agencies and media partners across teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Your expertise in digital marketing, technology, and analytics will be crucial in optimizing campaign performance and delivering measurable results.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives. Identify key target audiences, channels, and tactics to maximize brand exposure, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media, metasearch, content marketing, display advertising, and out-of-home advertising.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels and campaigns. Monitor spending, track ROI, and provide regular reports on campaign performance and budget utilization.
Website Management & Development: Collaborate with web developers and brand agency on the development of the RioLasVegas.com website. Lead in the development of new web assets, strategies, future tech and ongoing content management.
Conversion Rate Optimization: Collaborate with web development and design teams to ensure the company's website is optimized for user experience, SEO, and conversion rates. Continuously monitor website performance, conduct A/B testing, and implement improvements to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize various digital marketing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing initiatives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage agencies and media partners, providing direction and timing for campaign planning. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring team members have the necessary resources and skills to execute digital marketing initiatives effectively.
Collaboration: Work with property-wide management teams within Revenue Management, CRM, Hotel, Food & Beverage and Casino departments to ensure their online presence is effective and reflective of the experience we aim to create.
Responsible for ensuring customer service inquiries on social media platforms are monitored and responded to in a timely manner, as well as escalated to the associated department for action.
Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Identify new opportunities and innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge and drive business growth.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises Digital Marketing Manager, media partners, and agency relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum six years of proven experience in digital marketing: including strategy development media planning, media buying and campaign management.
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and tools (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media advertising, marketing automation, web analytics).
Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools to derive insights and make data-driven decisions. Microsoft, Tableau, and / or Adobe software familiarity encouraged.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex digital marketing concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative and strategic mindset, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
PREFERRED
Social Media Strategy and Management; familiarity with newsfeed algorithm trends and tools.
Customer Service Experience
Customer Relationship Management and/or Database Marketing Experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
