The Director, Digital & AI Transformation will play a critical role in strengthening Apollo’s enterprise capabilities in workflow diagnostics, AI deployment, and operating model redesign. This individual will apply rigorous, first-principles thinking to evaluate how work is performed across investment, operational, and corporate functions, and will architect AI-enabled solutions that materially improve efficiency, scalability, and decision quality. This position requires a strategic operator who combines analytical depth with execution discipline. The Director will partner with senior stakeholders and technology teams to identify high-impact opportunities, redesign core processes, and ensure measurable value realization from AI-driven transformation initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead structured assessments of end-to-end workflows to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for automation and augmentation
Apply artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and process intelligence tools to analyze both structured and unstructured data in support of business process redesign
Define target-state operating models that embed AI-enabled capabilities into core investment, operational, and support functions
Develop transformation roadmaps with clear prioritization criteria based on impact, feasibility, risk, and change readiness
Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready AI solutions in collaboration with engineering and product partners
Establish measurable performance baselines and value realization frameworks to track improvements in cycle time, quality, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation
Drive disciplined program execution from concept through implementation, ensuring adoption and sustainability of redesigned workflows
Build repeatable methodologies, governance standards, and best practices to institutionalize AI-enabled business process reengineering across the firm
Qualifications & Experience
8-10 years of experience in digital transformation, AI strategy, operational excellence, management consulting, or related roles with enterprise-wide scope
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business process reengineering or operating model transformation initiatives
Strong working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing, automation frameworks, and data-driven decision systems
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technology functions
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience structuring complex, ambiguous challenges
Experience developing executive-level materials, including transformation strategies, business cases, and implementation plans
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Preferred
Advanced degree in business, engineering, data science, or a related discipline
Experience within financial services, alternative asset management, or other complex, regulated environments
Familiarity with enterprise data architecture and modern AI/ML tooling ecosystems
Experience implementing governance frameworks and performance measurement systems for transformation initiatives
Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
