Job Description: Director, SailPoint Application Onboarding – Asia Region

Location: Asia (Philippines, MBPS)

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to serve as Director of SailPoint Application Onboarding for the Asia region. This role will oversee a regional team of analysts responsible for onboarding enterprise applications into the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable identity lifecycle management across diverse regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a regional onboarding roadmap aligned with global IAM strategy and local regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Asia in global SailPoint governance forums and ensure regional needs are addressed.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to prioritize onboarding efforts.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of SailPoint Application Onboard Analysts across multiple countries.
  • Establish KPIs for onboarding throughput, quality, and compliance tailored to regional operations.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee onboarding of applications using SailPoint IdentityIQ connectors (e.g., JDBC, AD, REST APIs).
  • Ensure accurate aggregation of entitlements, roles, and access data for certification campaigns.
  • Manage onboarding documentation, connector configurations, and access models specific to Asia-based applications.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure onboarding processes meet internal standards and regional regulations (e.g., MAS, HKMA, PDPA, SOX, SOC1, CDI ).
  • Maintain audit-ready onboarding records and exception handling protocols.
  • Drive integration of service accounts, cloud roles, and non-employee identities into IdentityIQ.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between onboarding team and application owners, IT operations, and risk teams in Asia.
  • Facilitate onboarding workshops, training sessions, and readiness assessments.
  • Resolve onboarding blockers and escalate issues requiring cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Identity & Access Management, with 3+ years in SailPoint IdentityIQ onboarding leadership.
  • Experience managing onboarding for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), SaaS apps, and legacy systems in Asia.
  • Strong understanding of SailPoint architecture, connectors, and access certification workflows.
  • Familiarity with regional compliance frameworks and data residency requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
