Overview
The Asia Pacific (AP) Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) team is looking for a Director, Chief of Staff (Business Administration) to drive our strategy and execution forward by working together with cross-functional and cross-country teams.
The Mission of the Business Administration & Excellence function is to provide thought leadership to the Management Team and ensure the goals and objectives of the Company are successfully achieved in the market.
The role has been tasked with driving a culture and instituting an internal/external consultative approach to help the business to achieve its business objectives.
The individual is expected to gather and analyze information, formulate, and test hypothesis, develop and communicate recommendations as well as an execution mindset. Additionally, keep track of main KPIs and Market Drivers.
Reporting directly to the EVP, CNPF AP the role will support the CNPF Leadership Team and work closely with all market's teams. The role will have 1 direct report.
Role
• Lead Strategic projects for the CNPF AP Organization (design and execution), structuring ambiguous problems and take action to solve them acting as a consultant to the organization.
• Build strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and functions across the Asia Pacific region.
• Help business leaders across the region gain key insights into business performance by market and segment, and identify key strategic priorities
• Support the CNPF EVP, and broader team, on time sensitive requirements/projects
• Lead the strategic planning process, and contribute to the development of execution framework against strategic plan. Support the quarterly planning process
• Lead priorities and target setting process and monitoring progress
• Work together with the markets to determine the CNPF strategy, execution and plan needed to be success
• Support all market visits and relevant Executive engagements into AP
• Lead/support all applicable CNPF events including customer forums, townhalls, and Executive engagements
• Management/prioritization capabilities – dealing with multiple priorities is critical
• Contribute to continue building monitoring Dashboards
• Manage a direct report to develop talent and growth
All About You
• Bachelor/MBA in Business Administration, Economics, or Business Management
• Experience in a consultancy role or similar Chief Of Staff function
• Strong Leadership skills
• Analytical skills
• Outstanding people skills. Ability to influence at the highest levels
• Comfortable obtaining business insights from ambiguous and incomplete datasets, and turning them into action and meaningful insights
• Proficient in Excel and power point; knowledge of Data analytics tools and coding is plus (Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience in Consulting, Strategy, and/or planning roles
• Strong sense of urgency, comfortable operating in a fast paced and changing environment
• Customer focused, team player, and problem solver
• Ability to build and to maintain relationships at multiple levels of the organization
