This role will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, driving transformation across the CFO area (Finance, Actuarial and Investment) while ensuring operational excellence. This role combines leadership in change management, organizational design, and project governance with executive-level representation and cross-functional alignment. Acting as the CFO’s primary delegate, the Director will champion initiatives that deliver cost efficiency, strengthen governance, and foster collaboration within the CFO organization and with other departments and Group office. This position requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence at the highest levels.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Lead the design and execution of Finance & Actuarial transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery of “Efficient Growth” expense savings and alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within Finance and Actuarial processes to enhance agility and scalability

Organizational Design & Workforce Strategy

  • Partner with CFO and HR to redefine the future organization structure for Actuarial and Finance, ensuring optimal resource allocation and capability building.

Program Governance & PMO Oversight

  • Own and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for Actuarial and Finance, setting governance standards, prioritizing projects, and ensuring timely delivery of strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence & BAU Oversight

  • Monitor and prioritize BAU activities across Finance and Actuarial, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Executive Support & Representation

  • Act as CFO’s delegate in high-level business meetings, steering committees.
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to support CFO decision-making.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Bridge silos across functions under the CFO umbrella, fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
  • Align objectives across teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities and effective communication.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Over 10 year experience in business management role with proven track record in finance transformation and project governance,
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is a strong advantage
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of finance in a regulated environment (insurance/financial services preferred).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing skills across senior leadership and diverse teams.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Comfort handling sensitive financial and strategic information.
