As an Internal Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to audit procedures, risk assessment, and corporate governance processes. You will support the internal audit team in conducting audit tests, documenting findings, communicating results, and contributing to assurance activities across the organisation. This internship offers a strong foundation for students interested in audit, accounting, finance, or corporate risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing audit tests and procedures in accordance with audit plans.
Conduct interviews with auditees to gather information, clarify processes, and understand controls.
Analyse audit findings and effectively communicate observations to relevant stakeholders.
Document audit work clearly and accurately to support audit conclusions.
Assist in drafting audit reports, including summaries of findings and recommended actions.
Contribute to the preparation and execution of an internal audit cycle, gaining experience in end-to-end assurance activities.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are an advantage).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to document work clearly and accurately.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Interest in internal audit, risk management, or corporate governance.

Internship Period
We are looking for an intern who can start in January for up to 6 months.
