Job Description
The Department Director is responsible for managing Utilization Resources on patient care including admission review, observation review and discharge planning. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including enforcement of Corporate and facility policies as well as the development and enforcement of department specific policies. Responsible for customer, employee and physician satisfaction initiatives. The Director strategically plans, coordinates, directs and supervises the daily operations of the Case Management Department and personnel. The Director performs all duties in accordance with state, Federal and accrediting agency guidelines and standards.

Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Social Work
Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in Case Management, 1 to 3 years Management experience preferred
Current RN license for the state of South Carolina preferred OR license in Social work required
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
