Prudential Financial is seeking a Director of Benefit Education Solutions to lead our team’s management and delivery of client-facing education and support content, along with acting as the primary liaison to Group Insurance Marketing for all initiatives in the HR Tech and Enrollment space.  This is a new role being added to the team to support and manage benefit education and will report directly to the Vice President, Head of Enrollment.

As Director of Benefit Education Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategies needed to enhance our delivery and support for benefit education. The ideal candidate will have group insurance benefits expertise and experience with content operations, vendor management and change leadership. They will also have a track record of improving speed, quality, and consistency at scale. Most importantly, they’ll have a passion for benefits education, understanding how to meet the diverse needs of our customers and make complex benefits-related concepts easy to understand.

This position will have people management responsibilities over the managers and specialists who execute on delivering these capabilities.  This team includes a new Benefit Education Consultant role and the team supporting client-requested Enrollment Kits and materials.  This role will also work alongside leaders in Prudential’s Group HR Tech & Enrollment Solutions team, in addition to working with other areas including Distribution, Operations and Product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison from HR Tech & Enrollment Solutions to GI Marketing, helping to standardize and streamline the way in which our organizations work together and support each other. 
  • Work with all areas of HR Tech & Enrollment Solutions to ensure our internal and market-facing content and materials stay current and within brand expectations.
  • Lead the Enrollment Materials function, which includes leadership of the team creating content and defining capacity plans and surge models for peak season support
  • Oversight of our new relationship with Pasito, who is delivering AI-driven solutions to eliminate manual processes in place today around Enrollment Materials creation. 
  • Leadership of an initiative to redesign and enhance our current Plan Summary and Enrollment Kit materials.
  • Operationalizing Pru Smart Market templated work currently executed by Enrollment Consultants so it is standardized, scalable and measurable

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years in benefits enrollment communications/operations at a carrier, ben‑tech, consulting firm, or large employer
  • Deep knowledge of plan design artifacts (UWDs/benefit grids), how they translate into employee‑facing materials, and common pitfalls in accuracy and readability.
  • Experience standing up vendor solutions (SaaS/AI‑assisted content or similar), including POCs, KPIs, and governance.
  • Strong partnership skills with Marketing, Product, Legal/Compliance, Privacy/Vendor Governance; ability to simplify complex requirements and drive crisp decisions.
  • Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.

  • Ability to work with senior leaders and team managers to define and execute on strategies
  • Collaborative mindset and ability work cross-functionally across our business
  • Ability to manage escalations and issues and define a path forward.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Marketing, HR/Benefits or related field is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Pasito or comparable benefits delivery and decision‑support platforms; experience with highlight sheets/microsites.
  • Experience with ben‑tech ecosystems (e.g., benefits admin platforms, HRIS), and content tools (e.g., Workfront, SharePoint, Adobe).
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted content management and generation tools.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $147,100.00 to $220,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
