Director, B2B Marketing Enablement & Strategy

1. Overview
Mastercard continues to expand its Services portfolio, including through recent acquisitions. As these organizations remain operationally independent, we coordinate our approach to planning, storytelling, and how we show up in the market across marketing teams.
The Director, B2B Marketing, Strategy will lead this cross-team integration work and establish the operating model that connects Services Marketing with the acquired Services organization. This role leads joint planning and project manages collaboration across storytelling frameworks, branding, online and in-person campaign execution, reporting, and governance. It ensures the right teams are aligned, moving, and delivering against a shared plan.

2. Role
Key Responsibilities
Integration Leadership
• Lead joint planning and project manage collaboration between Mastercard marketing and the acquired Services marketing organization across storytelling frameworks, brand guidance, event execution, reporting, and governance.
• Serve as the primary connector and escalation point between stakeholder groups, ensuring clear ownership, aligned priorities, and transparent communication.
• Stand up and manage an integration workplan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reporting.
• Serve as the Marketing representative during the corporate integration process, involving appropriate subject matter experts from the marketing team as required.
Operating Model and Playbook
• Design and maintain the operating model that governs how the two organizations plan, execute, and measure joint marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain an Integration Playbook that documents roles, processes, cadences, and decision rights across teams.
• Define and embed the rhythms of business for this work (e.g., annual planning touchpoints, quarterly reviews, and regular alignment forums).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Marketing Strategy, Product/Portfolio Marketing, Events, Digital, Field, and regional teams to ensure integration work aligns to overarching priorities and GTM strategy.
• Coordinate with Marketing Operations, Finance, and Analytics teams on shared reporting, KPIs, and visibility into performance.
• Work with leaders in the acquired organization to ensure their needs and growth goals are reflected in joint plans.
Governance, Reporting, and Communication
• Define and coordinate the reporting needed to track integration progress and joint marketing performance.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on status, risks, and decisions needed.
• Ensure integration learnings and best practices are documented and shared, including recommendations for future acquisitions or cross-business programs.
Strategic Programs
• Once the initial integration model is established, lead or support additional strategic programs that cut across portfolios or require cross-team coordination (e.g., new Services initiatives, operating model changes, or other marketing integrations).

3. All About You / Experience
• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing operations, consulting, or strategic program management.
• Proven track record leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives or integrations (ideally involving multiple business units or acquired companies).
• Strong understanding of marketing planning, go-to-market execution, and performance measurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills: able to influence without direct authority, facilitate decision-making, and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable building structure where there isn’t any yet; able to turn ambiguous goals into clear plans, milestones, and accountabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience preparing and delivering updates for senior leadership.
• Experience in Services, cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology marketing is preferred but not required.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
