Position Purpose: Executes the AI governance framework, ensuring that established policies and strategies are effectively implemented across the organization.
Leads day-to-day management of AI governance programs, overseeing teams responsible for monitoring AI systems, addressing compliance requirements, and implementing risk management protocols. Collaborates with various departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of ethical AI innovation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines. Ensures fairness, transparency, and accountability in the development and deployment of AI systems across the organization, mitigating potential biases and discriminatory outcomes, and fostering trust with members and the public.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, or Healthcare Management required: 7+ years leadership experience in related field. required
Experience with and deep understanding of AI governance frameworks, ethical principles, and best practices required
Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, including relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and ethical considerations required
Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI technologies required
Experience in developing and implementing AI compliance programs preferred
Experience with AI model development and deployment preferred
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices preferred
This position is 100% remote within the United States with 10% travel required for annual meetings.
Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
