Scope of Position

The Director of Operations will be accountable for directing and overseeing the daily operations of the OSUWMC Outpatient Care New Albany - a Medical Office Building (MOB), and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) totaling 250,000 gross square feet on 31 acres of land with over 20 different clinical services offered. This role will be responsible for achieving building-wide operational metrics, including financial performance, patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and service levels for administrating shared services supporting the outpatient care campus. This position will act as an executive liaison to the surrounding communities and participate in community engagement efforts to meet the community's needs and build OSUWMC's brand and contributions.

Position Summary

The Director is the operational leader of the Outpatient Care New Albany.  The Director leads the effort to develop actions and structure to achieve annual employee engagement, patient satisfaction, access, quality, financial performance goals, and other key metrics of the entire facility's clinical operations.  The Director will partner with ambulatory services leadership, physician faculty leaders, service line leaders, and clinic managers to ensure that daily operations are seamlessly delivered.  This position provides leadership input for program and service development - promoting the collaboration between all services to meet staffing, patient satisfaction, quality metrics through a team-first and multi-disciplinary approach.  The Director is expected to partner with the Medical Center's community and civic outreach and engagement teams to develop and implement strategies and actions to improve the community's health and increase the Medical Center's contributions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. 8 years of relevant experience required. 12 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
