We’re looking for a Director, AI Product Architect to join us in London!
This role is pivotal in shaping the technical landscape of Liberty Global’s AI initiatives, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards. You’ll be driving the development and execution of cutting-edge AI-Driven solutions for Liberty Global. This role involves harnessing technical competence in AI to align product strategies with market dynamics, user demands, and overarching business goals, ensuring the creation of groundbreaking and market-leading AI products that set our offerings apart in the market.
What will you be doing?
Provide detailed technical leadership -Offer comprehensive technical & operational leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the product architecture.
Define AI solutions- Technically co-define the AI solutions that integrate with target markets and ensure reliability, security & performance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Architect the AI System- Advise on (along with in house experts) appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and technologies to achieve the desired outcomes while considering scalability.
Collaborate with multifunctional teams -Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and designers to facilitate the translation of conceptual ideas into technically feasible architecture, encouraging a unified vision and smooth execution.
Testing Strategies- Establish testing strategies for AI components, ensuring adaptability, accuracy, and reliability of the product. This includes defining testing criteria, methodologies and quality assurance practices.
Implement ethical AI practices- Address ethical considerations in AI development, focusing on bias, fairness, and transparency in AI algorithms and decision-making processes. Ensure our solutions adhere to the ethical standards and regulatory requirements, promoting trust and responsible use of AI
We tend to look for people with:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Extensive experience in an AI Product Architect or similar role, in a large, complex enterprise
Experience in multiple AI technologies, services, and new product development
Ability to shape a clear roadmap for AI products within scope.
A mentoring/ collaborative style of working and technical leadership.
Proven experience in delivering, maintaining & operating AI at scale in Production environments.
Prior understanding of platform ownership and lifecycle management.
Ability work with outsourced partners.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience in a Telco environment/Big data companies
PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant College/University degree (bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
Working knowledge of Generative AI and hands on experience building, delivering AI Capabilities
Proven ability to lead projects with complex challenges, delivering operational excellence, cost optimized and strategically aligned solutions.
Proven ability to lead a team and work cross functionally.
Able to communicate effectively and convey complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
A proven track record of influencing stakeholders and decision makers as a technical thought leader in the field of AI, contributing to decision making and guiding initiatives.
