Director, Advanced Water Treatment

Summary of Position:
WaterBridge is looking to hire a dynamic Advanced Water Treatment Director for our operations in our Midland, TX office.
 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research and develop a standard for water treatment and recycling for various water specs
• Work with Environmental team to research and recommend ESG related projects, including:
  • Enhanced evaporation of produced water
  • Post-treatment uses for produced water (agricultural / industrial applications)
  • Potential for post-treatment discharge to rivers or aquifers
  • Renewable energy applications
  • Operations efficiency
• Research and participate in legislative meetings related to the above topics
• Support and improve solids treatment and disposal process
• Participate in industry events and provide summaries of findings at industry conferences
• Provide quarterly update to Executive team on project statuses and new findings/recommendations

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferrable in water-related discipline
• Project management experience
• Ability to demonstrate good leadership, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changes to priorities with little notice
• Able to excel in entrepreneurial environment
• Must be a self-starter

• Operates in both a professional and/or business casual office environment.
