Airbus Flight Hours Services (FHS) is seeking a dynamic, high-energy leader to spearhead our Direct Shipment operations.
In this role, you won't just manage a process; you will functionally lead a diverse, multicultural team of ~20 specialists across Asia, the Americas, and Africa. You will be the architect of our direct shipment operations, ensuring that high-value aircraft assets move seamlessly from our customers to our global repair network, keeping our airline partners flying.

Your challenges
As the Direct Shipment Leader, you will own the end-to-end performance of our global Direct Shipment activity. Your goal is to balance operational excellence with aggressive growth and innovation.
Strategic Leadership:
Global Team Management: Lead and inspire a worldwide team of ~20 Direct Shipment Officers located at customer facilities. You will be responsible for their competence development, safety, operational standards and blockage resolution.
Process Authority: Act as the global referential lead for the activity.
Scale & Deploy: Drive the expansion of our footprint by deploying new operational cells for emerging customer contracts worldwide.
Cost & Efficiency: Lead the development of the Direct Shipment activity, including Make/Buy Strategy; Risks and Opportunities Management; benchmarking
Operational Excellence:
Performance Engineering: Utilize analytics to identify bottlenecks and "drumbeat" recovery actions across the extended enterprise (Suppliers, Logistics, and Airlines)
Transformation & Innovation:
Digital Evolution: Support in migrating our operations to a brand-new IT backbone (launching 2025).
Business Growth: Support high-impact projects including M&As, Joint Ventures, and sustainability initiatives to future-proof the FHS ecosystem.
Your Boarding Pass
We are looking for a seasoned leader who thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
You have experience managing remote, international teams and possess the cultural intelligence to lead across multiple nationalities.
You don't just see data; you see solutions. You can turn complex supply chain analytics into clear, actionable recovery plans.
The Change Agent: You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a track record of leading teams through IT transformations or organizational shifts.
The Communicator: You can influence stakeholders at all levels, from shop-floor logistics providers to high-level airline customers.
Experience in Civil Aerospace Material Management would be highly beneficial.
