About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales Readiness & Talent Development to lead the design and delivery of scalable learning programs that enhance the skills and effectiveness of our sales organization. This role will shape Invesco’s learning ecosystem by implementing modern, technology-enabled pathways and competency frameworks aligned with business priorities and regulatory standards. The Director will partner across Sales Enablement, Product, Compliance, Marketing, and HR to deliver onboarding, field readiness, and ongoing professional development programs that reinforce a strong learning culture. Success requires enterprise L&D leadership, digital learning expertise, and the ability to translate complex business needs into impactful learning experiences that equip distribution teams for a best-in-class client experience.
Responsibilities of the role:
Develop and execute FINRA-compliant annual training plans; conduct needs analysis; ensure all programs meet regulatory standards through audits, QA, and digital modernization.
Oversee administration, access, renewals, and optimization of Compass LMS, Allego, MS Workstation, Zephyr, and FI360; streamline processes and implement automation for efficiency.
Design, train and implement the AI enabled sales person of the future
Design and deliver monthly new-hire onboarding for distribution roles; coordinate speakers and mentors; maintain high-quality, role-specific materials; scale global digital onboarding programs.
Administer and enhance pathways like Internal-to-External Market Consultants; manage applications, interviews, and assessments; expand programs with emerging leader development and workforce planning.
Manage advisor-facing CE programs; ensure compliance, accurate tracking, and timely submissions; modernize content and improve user experience.
Provide strategic guidance on instructional design and learning technology; act as SME for digital curriculum and scalable learning solutions.
Partner with Compliance, Sales, Product, Marketing, and HR to align learning programs with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Elevate content accuracy and usability through curriculum audits, governance improvements, and best practices in learning path management.
Requirements of the role:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in instructional design, education, learning technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Learning & Development within complex or regulated environments, with proven success leading enterprise initiatives and multi-year learning strategies.
Strong knowledge of FINRA regulatory requirements and experience designing compliant learning materials, conducting needs analyses, and maintaining governance standards.
Proficiency in LMS administration, content governance, learning path design, reporting systems, and automation to improve efficiency and impact.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Compass LMS, Allego, MS Workstation, Zephyr, FI360, Power BI, OneNote, and IVY.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills; adept at partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver instructor-led, virtual, and digital programs.
Demonstrated project management and organizational abilities, including managing complex learning portfolios and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and translating business needs into effective learning solutions across geographically dispersed teams.
The salary range for this position is $147,000 to $167,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
