Digital Solution Engineer

Summary:

Planning and formulating basic concepts for DX projects (automation and digitalization) in factories and plants

• Promoting the introduction and updating of control and information systems such as DCS/PLC/SCADA/MES

• Collecting, visualizing, and utilizing manufacturing data (quality, operating rate, energy management, etc.)

• Technical consultations, specification adjustments, and implementation management with overseas and domestic vendors

• Coordination and requirements gathering with internal departments (manufacturing, equipment, quality, information systems departments, etc.)

• Considering operational improvements, standardization, and expansion after implementation

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and formulating basic concepts for DX projects (automation and digitalization) in factories and plants

• Promoting the introduction and updating of control and information systems such as DCS/PLC/SCADA/MES

• Collecting, visualizing, and utilizing manufacturing data (quality, operating rate, energy management, etc.)

• Coordination and requirements gathering with internal departments (manufacturing, equipment, quality, information systems departments, etc.)

• Considering operational improvements, standardization, and expansion after implementation

• 工場・プラントのDX案件（自動化・デジタル化）の企画、基本構想策定
• DCS／PLC／SCADA／MESなどの制御・情報系システム導入、更新プロジェクトの推進
• 製造データの収集・可視化・活用（品質・稼働率・エネルギー管理 等）
• 海外・国内ベンダーとの技術協議、仕様調整、導入管理
• 社内関係部門（製造、設備、品質、情報システム部門 等）との調整・要件整理
• 導入後の運用改善、標準化、横展開の検討

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

• University+ degree

• Practical experience in the manufacturing industry or related to plants, equipment, control systems, or information systems (Design, maintenance, commissioning, IT, DX promotion, project management, etc. - specific job duties are not required)

• Ability to communicate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders and organize and coordinate issues

• Motivation to learn new technologies and systems and utilize them for business improvement

• Ability to perform tasks in Japanese (document creation, meetings, coordination, etc.)

Candidates with a background in or practical experience in any of the following fields:

* Electrical, electronic, and control engineering

* Information engineering and systems engineering

* Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.

* Experience in the introduction, updating, and operation of DCS/PLC/SCADA/MES, etc.

* Experience participating in DX, digitalization, and automation projects in manufacturing sites

* Experience in basic design, specification creation, and vendor control of control systems and information systems

* Experience in data utilization (visualization, analysis) and business improvement activities (QC, TPM, etc.)

* Experience working with overseas vendors and the ability to communicate technically in English

* Project management and leadership experience

* Holders of relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Chief Electrical Engineer, Information Processing Engineer, Electrician, Instrumentation Engineer, etc.)

・製造業またはプラント、設備、制御システム、情報システムに関わる実務経験

（設計、保全、立上げ、IT、DX推進、プロジェクト管理 等、業務内容は不問）

・社内外の関係者と円滑にコミュニケーションを取り、課題整理・調整ができる方

・新しい技術・仕組みを学び、業務改善に活かそうとする意欲のある方

・日本語での業務遂行能力（資料作成、会議、調整業務等）

・電気・電子・制御工学

・情報工学・システム工学

・化学工学・機械工学 等

・DCS／PLC／SCADA／MES等の導入、更新、運用経験

・製造現場のDX、デジタル化、自動化プロジェクトへの参画経験

・制御システム・情報システムの基本設計、仕様書作成、ベンダーコントロール経験

・データ活用（可視化、分析）、業務改善活動（QC、TPM等）の経験

・海外ベンダーとの業務経験、英語での技術的なやり取りが可能な方

・プロジェクトマネジメント、リーダー経験

・業務関連資格保有者

（電気主任技術者、情報処理技術者、電気工事士、計装士 等）
