Job Summary: You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in the Advanced Hypersonic Weapons & Guided Munitions Division; Integrated Engagement Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. As the PNT Chief Architect, you will provide technical management and strategic direction orchestrating the development, testing, and integration of PNT technologies and data transport capabilities across the Naval Enterprise and for Golden Dome of America (GDA).

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the capability portfolio manager for PNT technology and Transport capabilities orchestrating the development, acquisition and integration of critical technologies for the Naval Enterprise and GDA.
  • You will serve as the central point of contact for the PNT and Transport portfolio, coordinating with stakeholders across all branches of the Department of War, industry, and academic partners.
  • You will develop and oversee the strategic roadmap for the PNT and Transport portfolio, including: conducting gap analyses to prioritize investments, managing the portfolio's budget, and making data-driven decisions to leverage available assets.
  • You will develop and oversee the strategic roadmap for the PNT and Transport portfolio, including: investing in new technologies, and divesting from obsolete systems to meet testing and operational capability milestones.
  • You will serve as the lead systems integrator for PNT and Transport capabilities within the portfolio working across technology areas including sensors, weapons, and command and control to facilitate technology transition and optimize performance.
  • You will direct and lead cross departmental and cross service efforts supporting PNT and Transport deliverables and products to meet emerging technology needs.
  • You will establish and maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, to include program sponsors, other government agencies, industry and academia as required.
  • You will evaluate and analyze information from diverse sources and classification levels related to operational requirements and build a technical integration plan.
  • You will effectively communicate emerging engagement systems capabilities and limitations.
  • You will exhibit strong operational and technical leadership to successfully lead NSWCDD initiatives focused on terminal defense.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying technical project management principles to orchestrate the development, acquisition, or integration of Position Navigation & Timing (PNT) and Transport technology solutions.
