What you will do:

 

The Digital Platform Specialist is responsible for the centralized operational management of global digital events, serving as the system owner and execution lead for webinar and virtual event delivery and also oversee our in-person event registration platform. 

 

This role owns the end-to-end operational lifecycle of digital events—including calendar governance, webinar setup, execution support, metrics and post event data readiness—using BigMarker as the system of record. The role ensures that digital events are delivered consistently, reliably, and at scale, while enabling clean integration with Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP), Data Cloud, and CRM systems. 

 

This position acts as the single operational point of accountability for digital events and customer event registration globally, allowing marketers to focus on content, audiences, and outcomes rather than tools and logistics.

How you will do it:

Global Governance & Planning in partnership with global Digital teams 

  • Own and maintain the global digital events calendar, ensuring 

  • Alignment to campaign and NPI timing 

  • Avoidance of audience overlap 

  • License and platform capacity management 

  • Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for digital events, including:  

  • Intake requirements 

  • Readiness gates 

  • Naming, tagging, and archiving standards 

  • Serve as the platform owner for BigMarker and Swoogo, ensuring consistent use across regions and business units 

 

Webinar & Platform Operations Support 

  • Build and configure webinars in BigMarker, including:  

  • Registration pages 

  • Email notifications 

  • Webinar room settings 

  • Polls, surveys, certificates, and recordings 

  • Maintain and govern approved webinar templates in partnership with Brand and Digital teams 

  • Provide eventlevel access to agencies and partners while protecting platform governance 

  • Troubleshoot platform issues before and during live events, serving as escalation point 

  • Conduct platform training for new users 

 

Execution Support & Live Event Readiness 

  • Coordinate preevent logistics 

  • Speaker invitations and roles 

  • Practice sessions and runofshow reviews 

  • Final readiness checks 

  • Support or lead live event execution, including 

  • Session start/end 

  • Speaker handoffs 

  • Realtime troubleshooting 

  • Ensure all engagement data is captured and recordings are successfully archived 

 

Data Readiness & Integration Enablement Support 

  • Partner with Digital/MAP and Data teams to:  

  • Trigger postevent data extraction 

  • Validate event data (registrants, attendees, engagement) 

  • Ensure data cleansing occurs before CRM ingestion 

  • Support connector or APIbased integrations between BigMarker, MAP, Data Cloud, and CRM 

  • Act as operational liaison for data issues tied to digital events 

 

Continuous Improvement & Enablement 

  • Identify opportunities to:  

  • Reduce manual effort 

  • Improve scale and repeatability 

  • Enhance event quality and reliability 

  • Create and maintain 

  • Operational checklists 

  • Runbooks 

  • Training materials for marketers and agencies 

  • Track operational KPIs (e.g., ontime readiness, template adoption,) ensuring we are hitting on our say/do ratio 

 

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field 

  • 6+ years of experience in:  

  • Digital events 

  • Webinar operations 

  • Marketing operations or event technology 

  • Handson experience with webinar platforms (e.g., BigMarker, GoToWebinar, ON24, Zoom Webinars, Swoogo) 

  • Strong operational and project management skills 

  • Comfortable working across global teams and time zones 

  • Strong influencing capabilities and ability to hold cross-functional leaders accountable 

 

Preferred:

  • Experience operating in a centralized governance model 

  • Familiarity with:  

  • Marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Pardot) 

  • CRM systems (Salesforce) 

  • Data integration concepts (connectors, APIs, data validation) 

  • Experience supporting agencies or external partners 

  • Strong troubleshooting and escalation management skills 

  • Global time-zone coverage  

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $89,000 - $134,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
