Facilitates purposeful, student centered use of technology in teaching, learning and research across campus. Support faculty, staff and students in the use of technology tools and resources. Responds to technology-related questions and supports integration of applications, platforms, and enterprise systems. Collaborates with department, faculty, students, staff and community members on digital and public scholarship to further projects and initiatives, better understand resource use and needs, and support departmental goals. Collects and analyzes ongoing data to effectively promote digital and public scholarship endeavors.Job Duties:
Reports to the Associate Director, Digital Pedagogy and Scholarship.
In person, student-facing.
Flexibility needed with the work schedule in the summers and during academic breaks.
Full-time, exempt role working 40 hours per week 52 weeks per year.
Develops and delivers instructional material regarding digital scholarship methods and technologies. Provides support to faculty and students for instructional technologies currently in use at Bucknell.
Manages campus-wide Content Management Systems (CMS), including governance, policy development, and user communication. Creates comprehensive training resources, facilitates workshops, and designs web templates to support departmental web publishing.
Supports faculty and student digital scholarship projects. Collaborates with individuals on project planning, coordination and execution.
Advocates for improved digital accessibility of campus materials. Develops and maintains teaching materials. Delivers workshops about digital accessibility and collaborates with campus entities to evaluate and address campus needs and digital tools.
Participates in service and professional development opportunities in support of University and departmental strategic goals. Explores and pilots technologies for campus implementation, attends training to learn new skills and techniques, enhances knowledge of inclusive pedagogies and practices, and consults on best practices for digital pedagogy and scholarship.
Collects, tracks and reports on digital and scholarship projects. Develops showcase and content to promote projects and initiatives. Facilitates communication between projects and stakeholders on public and digital scholarship across campus.

Bachelor's degree
Two (2) or more yeas of relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience in teaching or training
Demonstrated desire to learn technologies related to teaching and learning
Demonstrated effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to write clear, accurate communications and other documentation
Master's degree in Information Technology, Library & Information Science, or related field.
Four (4) or more years of work experience in curriculum development, instructional design or related field.
Experience with Content Management Systems, Digital Storytelling Tools, Web Design Tools and Platforms, GIS Tools, and other Instructional Technologies.
Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.

59,760.00-74,700.00The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
