Carat are offering an incredible opportunity to work on media campaigns at the forefront of technological achievement on a progressive and ever-changing client.  Our UK teams work across multiple global markets servicing the Microsoft line of business, covering the most exciting brands within Gaming and the biggest developments across consumer technology.  This role will focus primarily on supporting Microsoft’s push for innovation in the consumer and commercial tech space across large multi-channel but digital first activations.

Purpose of the Role

The role requires a solid performance and technical digital excellence and business transformation. You will own the day-to-day client digital relationship and all elements of delivery across both brand and performance planning. This will include setting the digital transformation agenda, contributing to and implementation of the strategic vision for the client, delivery against financial targets set and building a trusted relationship with the client.

You will work with the UK manged EMEA hub market team and Global team in the US to ensure that we are delivering in line with Global expectation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Leadership Across EMEA: Act as the primary contact for cascading global digital communications, ensuring compliance and consistency across all markets.

  • Workstream & Communication Management: Oversee digital workstreams and coordinate communication between clients and Carat EMEA offices, including regular status calls.

  • Governance & Compliance: Uphold high digital standards, enforce global and local compliance, brand safety, GDPR, taxonomy, and provide crisis management support.

  • Best Practice & Knowledge Sharing: Develop templates, share campaign learnings, and guide markets in applying guidelines within specific contexts.

  • Strategic Roadmap & Innovation: Drive digital unification initiatives, deliver ambitious strategic and activation solutions, and identify growth opportunities for both client and agency.

  • Thought Leadership & Advanced Tools: Offer practical solutions for complex challenges, leveraging AI and dentsu systems for seamless execution and insightful measurement.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Extensive Media Experience: Proven experience in media, including team leadership and managing multiple client stakeholders.

  • International Digital Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of global digital media and strategic planning, with senior-level implementation experience.

  • Client Engagement & Communication: Confident in advising clients on channel roles and platform pros and cons, with strong communication skills across all levels.

  • Digital Transformation Leadership: Proven track record in leading digital development and transformation projects within media agencies.

  • Technical & Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced technologies such as clean rooms, SSPA, and DSP, with evidence of successful deployment for client benefit.

  • Team Management: Skilled in managing teams within virtual and matrix organisations, fostering development and collaboration.
