These individuals analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and offer guidance and support to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance.

We are seeking an experienced professional to support client engagements focused on complex operations and planning decision‑making in highly constrained, mission‑critical environments. This role helps design and embed decision‑support capabilities that combine quantitative rigor with operational judgment, process understanding, and digital enablement.

You will lead small delivery teams and work directly with client stakeholders to translate complex planning, operational, and readiness questions into practical solutions leaders can trust and act on. The role emphasizes clarity, explainability, decision impact, and requires comfort working across operations, analytics, technology, and solution delivery.  Your role will include, but isn’t limited to: 

Decision Framing  

  • Structure complex operational, logistics, and planning challenges as decision problems under uncertainty. 

  • Frame trade‑offs across capacity, inventory, risk, service levels, and timing and operational constraints. 

  • Apply appropriate analytical rigor based on decision criticality, data quality, and time constraints. 

Applied Modelling 

  • Apply quantitative techniques including: Supply chain network design and optimization, Inventory planning under uncertainty (including multi‑echelon), Capacity, throughput, and flow analysis, Scenario and probabilistic analysis using simulation. 

  • Validate models through sensitivity analysis, back‑testing, and stress testing. 

  • Translate analytical outputs into operations recommendations and decision-ready insights. 

Technology & Tools 

  • Embed analytics into scalable, auditable decision‑support solutions. 

  • Work with technical teams to shape data flows, reporting logics, solution requirements, and system integration points. 

  • Review and guide analytics code and pipelines; not required to be the primary developer. 

  • Tools may include Python, , SQL; optimization solvers; simulation libraries; and enterprise or cloud data platforms. 

Team & Client Leadership 

  • Lead and coach small teams, oversee work quality, and resolve delivery issues. 

  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to align insights and solution design to decision needs and communicate results clearly. 

  • Work effectively across both business and technical stakeholder groups. 

What You'll Bring: 
Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:

  • Degree in operations, industrial/systems engineering, computer science, or a closely related quantitative field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field 

  • Experience applying quantitative analysis and/or digital solutioning approaches to supply chain, operations, or complex planning problems in defense, manufacturing, or other asset‑intensive industries. 

  • Demonstrated ability to bridge operational context and analytics. 

  • Prior experience managing small teams and contributing to client‑facing engagements. 

  • Familiarity of enterprise platforms, system integration concepts, data architecture, and digital workflow enablement is an asset. 

  • Candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply

  • As a requirement, a Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who’ll be engaged on these assignments. The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
