Digital Marketing Manager - Website Strategy & Performance

Garff Enterprises Corporate Office - Salt Lake City, UT Full time

TITLE:                    Digital Marketing Manager – Website Strategy & Performance

REPORTS TO:             Sr. Director of Digital Marketing

Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager – Website Strategy & Performance to lead our dealership website strategy and manage a team of website content specialists supporting more than 70 automotive dealership websites.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader who enjoys guiding teams, optimizing website performance, and partnering with vendors—not for someone who wants to write code or build websites themselves. You will own the vision, execution, and ongoing optimization of our dealership websites while serving as the primary liaison between internal teams, regional marketing leaders, and external website providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of two website content specialists supporting 70+ dealership websites
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for website design, functionality, performance, and optimization
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve site performance, engagement, and conversion
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts when issues arise related to inventory, pricing, content accuracy, or site performance
  • Manage relationships with website vendor partners (Dealer Inspire and Dealer.com) and serve as the primary point of contact with their performance and support teams
  • Collaborate closely with inventory providers (vAuto and HomeNet) to ensure accurate inventory feeds and pricing models
  • Partner with Regional Marketing Managers to communicate website strategy, performance insights, and optimization opportunities
  • Support broader marketing campaigns by ensuring website alignment with promotional strategy and messaging
  • Perform quality control reviews of dealership websites with a focus on UI/UX best practices
  • Manage analytics, event tracking, and measurement using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Analyze heatmaps and user behavior data to uncover customer engagement and conversion opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing website projects
  • Strong understanding of website performance, UX principles, analytics, and optimization strategies
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and holding partners accountable to performance expectations
  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies to key stakeholders
  • Automotive digital or dealership website experience is a plus, but not required
