The Digital Marketing Manager supports the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated digital advertising and campaign initiatives that drive brand visibility, engagement, and measurable business growth. This role is highly campaign-oriented, with a strong focus on paid media, programmatic and account-based marketing (ABM) advertising, social media advertising, email marketing automation, and conversion-focused landing pages.
This role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams, including product marketing, and partners with external agencies and vendors to ensure all initiatives align with business objectives, while upholding corporate standards and complying with regulatory requirements. The Digital Marketing Manager applies strong analytical and creative capabilities to continuously optimize performance and deliver high‑impact results across digital channels.
What You’ll Work On
• Plan, develop, and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid media, web, social, email, and programmatic channels.
• Manage end-to-end paid media initiatives, including budgeting, targeting, execution, optimization, and reporting.
• Implement programmatic and ABM advertising strategies using platforms such as PulsePoint.
• Plan and manage social media advertising campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign objectives.
• Oversee ad scheduling, asset delivery, trafficking, and performance tracking across channels.
• Design, build, and optimize landing pages to support campaigns, leveraging UX best practices and A/B testing.
• Support SEO and SEM initiatives through keyword research, metadata optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and other platform dashboards.
• Translate performance data into actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
• Monitor trends across channels to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and conversion performance.
• Support and oversee email marketing and automation initiatives in Marketo, including segmentation, workflows, and reporting.
• Coordinate campaign messaging across email, paid media, and web experiences.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and sales teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to support multimedia content creation and collaborate effectively with design partners.
• Ensure all marketing activities adhere to Penumbra’s Quality Management System (QMS), brand guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities and timelines, with flexibility to address urgent matters outside standard hours when necessary.
• Support ad hoc marketing initiatives and provide general digital marketing support as needed.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
What You Contribute
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field with 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or campaign management.
• Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns (Google Ads, social advertising platforms).
• Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of campaign tracking, analytics, and optimization (Google Analytics, SEMrush or similar).
• Experience with landing page optimization and A/B testing.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with programmatic and ABM advertising platforms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for multimedia creation or asset collaboration.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and email marketing best practices.
• Agency and/or life sciences experience strongly preferred
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. Some travel (up to 10%, including weekends) may be required. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Annual Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
