About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in shaping and amplifying the digital presence of Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. In close partnership with the Director of Public Relations and Marketing, this role leads owned social and paid media while supporting public relations initiatives to tell the story of the Resort and its year-round experiences.

Balancing creativity with analytical rigor, the Digital Marketing Manager drives performance across digital channels, ensuring all content and campaigns are aligned with Four Seasons Brand Expression while delivering measurable impact across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa.

What you will do: 

Owned Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Lead and manage the Resort’s owned social media channels, including the main Resort accounts and individual restaurant and bar channels.
  • Oversee social content planning and execution, ensuring brand‑aligned storytelling, consistent visual standards, and measurable engagement.
  • Develop compelling content across all revenue centers—Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa—to showcase experiences, seasonal programming, and the destination.
  • Plan, produce, and execute photography and video content, collaborating with internal stakeholders across Operations, Culinary, Spa, and Guest Experience.
  • Manage and coordinate photo and video shoots from briefing through delivery of final assets.
  • Partner with the Director of Public Relations and Marketing to develop integrated content strategies that align social storytelling with broader communications and brand narratives.

Paid Media Strategy & Creative Development

  • Lead the development of paid media creatives in collaboration with internal teams and external brand and media agencies.
  • Execute paid media strategies that promote the Resort across seasonal demand periods, key and commercial priorities.
  • Analyze performance data and insights to evaluate effectiveness, guide creative optimization, and inform investment decisions.

Digital Performance & Channel Optimization

  • Drive overall digital performance across SEO, FS.com, CRM, and paid media, using insights to optimize channel mix, KPIs, ROI, and conversion.
  • Lead digital agency management, including briefing, performance reporting, and real‑time optimization to strengthen commercial contribution across channels.
  • Use data and analytics to translate performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations that support both brand and revenue objectives.

Brand Governance & Creative Stewardship

  • Ensure all digital content, campaigns, and assets are fully aligned with Four Seasons Brand Expression, tone of voice, and visual identity standards.
  • Act as a brand steward across owned and paid channels, reviewing and approving content prior to publication.

Graphic Design & OnBrand Collateral

  • Oversee graphic design requests across the Resort, including digital assets and on‑property marketing materials.
  • Partner with operational teams to deliver thoughtful, on‑brand collateral that enhances the guest experience and supports revenue generation across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa.

Public Relations Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Public Relations and Marketing to support public relations initiatives and media storytelling.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining media relationships at the local, national, and international levels through content support, digital amplification, and campaign execution.

What you bring: 

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and paid media, ideally within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle brands. Two years of digital marketing management experience preferred.
  • Strong photography and video capture skills, with an eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling to support content creation across digital channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Working knowledge and hands‑on experience with Adobe InDesign and production methods for graphic design and marketing collateral.
  • Required working knowledge of:
    • Canva for day‑to‑day content and design development
    • Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager for social publishing and paid media execution
    • Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and asset preparation
    • Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and short‑form storytelling
    • Adobe Analytics for performance reporting and insight generation
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to brand consistency and quality across all deliverables.
  • Experience managing digital agencies, creative partners, and external vendors, including briefing, performance oversight, and optimization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including department leaders and cross‑functional teams, to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to balance creativity, strategy, and operational collaboration.

Schedule & Hours:  

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Digital Marketing Manager be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
