ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Digital Editor to join our dynamic team.
Rate: $45.00/H
YOUR DAY-DAY:
• Edit and proofread digital articles, blogs, videos, and other multimedia content to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice.
• Help define the digital content strategy in collaboration with the editorial and marketing teams, focusing on audience engagement and growth.
• Manage and curate content for social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor performance and adjust strategy as needed.
• Edit and oversee the integration of multimedia elements such as images, videos, and infographics to enhance editorial content.
• Work closely with writers, graphic designers, and other departments to ensure the timely production of content while maintaining the brand’s voice and quality standards.
• Track content performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media metrics) to evaluate and improve engagement and audience reach.
• Oversee and maintain the content calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and content is published on time.
• Enforce editorial guidelines and ensure consistency across all digital channels.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience preferences, and new tools to keep the editorial process innovative and relevant.
YOU HAVE:
• 3+ years of experience in digital editing or content management, preferably in a fast-paced editorial or media environment.
• Proficient in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.) and multimedia editing tools.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics, etc.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for producing high-quality digital content.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).
