The Digital Design and Brand Creative team builds digital experiences that grow audiences, monetize content, and deepen user engagement. We work across all digital mediums such as web, apps, newsletters, social and emerging platforms. The team leverages AI, personalization and agent-powered solutions to build newsroom tools that serve our readers globally. Focused on smart design and sharp execution, we turn ideas into scalable, high-impact products that only The New York Post could deliver.
We are seeking a Digital Design and Brand Creative intern (40 hrs/week) to join us this summer! In this role you’ll have a front row seat to the excitement and energy of the country’s most popular and visible news brand. The intern will work closely with the heads of digital editorial, design, franchise creation and social content production.
Note: This internship is scheduled to run from June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026. Participants are expected to work full time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by March 15th.
What You'll Do:
Participate in brainstorming and ideation;
Assist in creation of mock ups, demos for concept discussion
Work on franchise design development, titles, logos
Create, re-size and adapt assets that appear on multiple platforms
What We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Google Slides and Apple Keynote
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in digital products, audience strategy, and newsroom transformation
Knowledge of social platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
Graphic Design, Marketing Design; Motion Design, Digital Product Design
Required skills are Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
Nice to have skills are Premiere, After Effects
