Amplify the RBAs voice in the economic conversation in Australia producing high quality, contemporary external digital content and publications.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead a small team to plan, create, edit and distribute digital content for multiple platforms that build audience understanding of complex economic, financial and regulatory topics.
Through your team, lead end to end project management of digital content initiatives, including scope, timeline, budget, delivery, and spanning content assets including dedicated landing pages, data visualisation graphics, video, animations and other interactive dynamic content to drive audience engagement.
Provide editorial support to help find new ways to plan and share economic topics and research by connecting publications with data storytelling to maximise reach with external audiences.
Lead high performing team through clear goal setting, context sharing, effective delegation and a central briefing system/tool that enables effective resource planning, active leadership in development of direct reports, and measurement of reach and impact of digital content and publications.
Work with economists, designers and developers to ensure consistency, efficiency at scale and alignment of digital content and publications.
Develop and deliver external audience and channel strategy, including digital content, channel and audience plans, to maximise reach of digital content, publications and speeches.
Manage and coordinate activities with agencies to plan and develop digital content as required
Build and maintain relevant communication tools, resources and ensure maintenance of content and publications SOPs.
Create a culture aligned with the RBA’s values to enable an environment for high levels of employee engagement and achievement.
Ensure operational accountability in regard to people management, budget and processes to achieve effective and efficient external and internal communication activities.
Identify and respond to issues, risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate processes are in place to meet the Bank’s communication requirements.
Technical Capabilities
Demonstrated experience delivering digital content and projects
Extensive experience planning and measuring impact of publications
Experience in financial services, public sector, journalism or agency
Ability to demonstrate successful management of an outcomes focused teams
Strong ability to plan, edit and design digital content to a high standard
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in project management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
