Digital Business Developer
We’re looking for a Digital Business Developer to join us at Telia.
I’m Hanna Andreason, Head of Digital Business Development and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us.
Digital Business Development plays a key role in shaping and executing Telia’s digital and AI driven transformation. The mission is to ensure that Telia’s digital customer experience is future ready, business driven, and aligned with our strategic ambitions.
The role operates at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, and technology, with a strong focus on embedding digital and AI capabilities responsibly and at scale across key customer journeys and internal processes. In addition to driving innovation, the role contributes to strengthening Telia’s business by increasing revenue, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction — while ensuring trust, compliance and value realization in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
This role reports to the Head of Digital Business Development and is part of Telia’s Product, CX, and Digital division.
In this role, you will lead the development and planning of digital and AI roadmaps, working closely with B2C product and sales teams, Customer Service teams, and IT/Data/platform teams to translate strategic priorities into clear requirements, executable delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Shape and drive digital and AI related strategies aligned with Telia’s business objectives
Lead roadmap development, planning, and prioritization across key customer journeys
Identify and frame business opportunities enabled by AI, automation, and data platforms
Translate strategy, business needs, and customer insights into clear requirements and value hypotheses
Work closely with IT delivery, data, and platform teams to ensure alignment from strategy to execution
Build business cases, define KPIs, and follow up on value realization
Collaborate with B2C, Tech, Legal, Security, and Customer Operations to ensure scalable and compliant solutions
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and customer expectations to inform strategic decisions
What will help you thrive in this role:
Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, emerging technologies, and their business implications, with a particular interest in AI driven transformation
Proven experience owning and driving product- or capability roadmaps, from strategic intent through planning, prioritization, and delivery
Solid experience conducting customer and user centric requirement analysis, translating customer needs, journeys, and pain points into clear requirements, epics, or features
Strong ability to define, estimate, and follow up on business value, including value hypotheses, KPIs, and measurable outcomes (e.g. revenue, efficiency, customer satisfaction)
Solid experience working closely with IT and development teams, bridging business, customer experience, and technical execution
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross functionally
Experience driving complex digital initiatives from early concept and strategy through to execution and value realization is a strong advantage
Experience from telecommunications, regulated industries, or largescale digital platforms is considered a strong advantage, but is not a requirement
