We’re offering a one-year fixed-term position beginning in January 2026, providing a unique chance to contribute and support the prioritized initiatives for the next year. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Customer Strategy & Channels, you will be part of the Marketing team.

We’re building a best-in-class digital asset ecosystem to drive brand consistency, accelerate go-to-market, and make it easy for teams and partners to find, use, and reuse content at scale. As the Business Owner, you’ll lead the platform from implementing operational strategy to maintaining daily operations—setting the vision, governing usage, and ensuring assets are structured, rights-compliant, and ready for omnichannel delivery.  

 

What you’ll do 

Platform Ownership & Strategy 

  • Define and own the DAM purpose, vision and roadmap, aligned with Marketing, Brand, and business goals.  

  • Act as the primary business owner of KONE Digital Assets Management System representing business needs across IT, security, data privacy, and vendor relationships.  

  • Prioritize the platform backlog—features, integrations, automation, and enhancements.  

  • Drive cross-platform alignment with Creative tools, KONE Websites, CRM, and other tools to enable an end-to-end content supply chain.  

  • Champion adoption and change through communications, training, and enablement across markets and functions.  

 

Operations & DAM Librarian Responsibilities 

  • Maintain metadata schemas, taxonomies, tagging conventions, and search relevance.  

  • Oversee asset onboarding, versioning, renditions, and quality checks.  

  • Manage asset lifecycle—archiving, expiry, and takedown—to keep the library accurate and clutter-free.  

  • Provide training, update playbooks, and offer front-line support for uploaders, editors, and external stakeholders.  

  • Resolve operational issues with IT and vendors to minimize disruption.  

 

Governance, Compliance & Risk 

  • Enforce DAM governance: roles, responsibilities, intake criteria, folder structures, and lifecycle policies.  

  • Maintain metadata, taxonomy, and controlled vocabularies to improve findability and usage tracking.  

  • Oversee, and support a decentralized key user model—ensuring effective permissions, licensing, and rights management across teams. Maintain compliance with governance and legal requirements. 

  • Collaborate with Brand, Legal, InfoSec, and IT to meet brand, privacy (e.g., GDPR), security, and accessibility requirements.  

 

Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement 

  • Define KPIs and dashboards (e.g., adoption, search success, asset reuse, time-to-publish).  

  • Use insights to optimize taxonomy, templates, and workflows. 

  • Gather user feedback and translate it into training content.  

 

Roadmap, Delivery & Vendor Management  

  • Lead change management for new features and integrations; ensure documentation and training with IT.  

  • Manage budget, licensing, and vendor relationships (Adobe and implementation partners); monitor SLAs and drive continuous improvement.  

  • Build business cases for investments; measure impact through adoption, time saved, content reuse, and analytics.  

 

 

What you’ll bring 

Must-have 

  • 5+ years in Digital Asset Management or related fields in Digital Marketing tools business ownership, with preferably hands-on experience as a librarian/admin or platform owner.  

  • Deep knowledge of DAM governance: roles, responsibilities, intake criteria, folder structures, and lifecycle policies Proven experience with enterprise DAMs, including integrations. 

  • Strong project management skills, Agile development certification preferred, roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, stakeholder engagement.  

  • Experience with governance, compliance (e.g., GDPR.) 

  • Excellent communication and training skills; ability to translate concepts into business value.  

  • Comfortably working in a global matrix organization and collaborating with IT/engineering teams.  

  • Experience working in Global Enterprises with multiple stakeholders, building consensus and driving change. 

  • Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.  

 

Nice to have 

  • Background in Library & Information Science, Information Management, Digital Media, Marketing Technology, or IT.  

  • Familiarity with content supply chains and marketing operations (briefing to delivery, localization, distribution).  

  • Hands on experience or familiarity with Adobe technology  

  • Understanding of SSO-based access controls and enterprise identity systems (e.g., MyAccess).  

  • Experience with analytics tools  

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in relevant fields.
