NN RAS (Risk and Actuarial Services) is a Centre of Excellence for NN Group, focusing on top quality and efficient solutions. We serve as an internal centre of quantitative model development, automation and innovation. We support numerous departments at NN Head Office in the Hague (the Netherlands) and NN subsidiaries all over Europe.
Now we are hiring to extend our Software and Data Engineering team with a DevOps Engineer.
The large team consists of 17 members, divided into three sub-teams; two software developer teams and a data engineering team.
What matters to you
🔸Building things from scratch (we hardly have legacy code)
🔸Development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure (Azure)
🔸Working in an agile developer team
🔸DevOps mindset
What you’ll do
🔸 Own CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (build, test, deploy)
🔸 Manage and scale build agents
🔸 Build and maintain Docker images
🔸 Configure and operate Kubernetes (AKS) workloads
🔸 Define and provision infrastructure with Terraform
🔸 Implement and maintain secret management across environments
What matters to us
🔸4+ years of relevant experience
🔸Hands‑on with Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform
🔸Experience on the financial domain is an advantage
🔸Solid grounding in Cloud‑Native practices, IaC, and security‑by‑design
🔸Knowledge with Python
