What You’ll Be Doing:

Function: Platform Engineering & Operations

Job Summary

As a member of the Platform Engineering organization, you will be part of a team

responsible for managing the large footprint of our application suite and cloud

infrastructure. We are transforming the way we manage cloud infrastructure and

application reliability, your role as a DevOps Engineer is instrumental in our success. This

role is for you If you are interested in becoming part of our highly talented team.

Essential Functions

• Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting resources in Azure.

• Maintain Terraform and Ansible configurations for application environments hosted

in the cloud.

• Designing, implementing, and managing containerization solutions using platforms

such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service

(AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA).

• Working with the Engineering teams to containerize existing applications.

• Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines for dozens of distinct products.

• Supporting our engineering teams in maintaining our source code in Git.

• Ensure code is thoroughly vetted by the time it is served as an artifact.

• Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful builds and deployments.

• Research, evangelize, and implement best practices and tools for DevOps.

• Working with the Engineering teams to containerize existing applications.

• Working within the agile methodology (kanban, sprints) to manage work.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience

• Have a DevOps mindset: you enjoy debugging complex systems and get to root of

the problem.

• Have a DevOps mindset: you identify manual tasks and then eradicate them

(through automation).

• Expertise in some scripting or programming language (preferably PowerShell or

Python).

• Passion and creativity for Automation using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

• Proven experience in implementing and managing container orchestration

platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.

• Deep understanding of deployment methodologies for Kubernetes, preferably

ArgoCD and Helm.

• Experience with containerization solutions using platforms such as Docker and

Kubernetes

• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps,

and Azure Service Fabric.

• Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD pipelines integrated with a Git

strategy (at least one of: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, BitBucket

Pipelines, etc.)

• Experience leveraging agile methodology (i.e., Scrumban) to manage project work.

• Extremely good at communication and comfortable with high level of transparency.

• Low ego.

Preferred Qualifications

• PostGresSQL and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) experience.

• Familiarity with other CNCF projects such as Dapr, Flux, and KEDA.
