Position Overview and Objective


The Software Developer will contribute to our Data/AI/ML Platform, by developing solutions that utilize and extend our AI models to accurately predict and detect threats. 

Responsibilities
 

As a Software Developer at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:

  • Develop and maintain features for the Aurora Endpoint Reputation Service
  • Collaborate inside and outside the team to design solutions capable of achieving the speed and scale of high performant cloud systems
  • Consider security as a core tenant of everything we create and every problem we solve
  • Work with the team to break down high level goals and designs into smaller work items that fit within an agile development culture
  • Understand quality starts at code creation, and will always be looking for ways to catch issues sooner in the software development lifecycle.
  • Interact cross-functionally with team members spread across the globe
  • Go the distance in standing behind the systems and services that we create

 
Experience and Requirements
 

We’re looking for someone with up to 2 years of relevant software development experience

  • Skilled in design patterns, modern cloud concepts, and service-oriented and decoupled software architectures
  • Experience in one or more backend languages.  Python and GO are strong assets, but comparable skills will be considered.
  • Experience with REST API design, integration and support at scale
  • Experience in database design and managing and utilizing large amounts of data
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and the concepts that they address.
  • Hands on experience with Docker containers and EKS or ECS
  • Experience in functional test and performance methodologies and principals and how to efficiently apply them
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining distributed systems through various technology stacks
