What will you do? 

  • ​​Perform product electrical/mechanical design of HVAC units.

  • Interact with mechanical, electrical and contract/product engineering team to develop HVAC units.

How will you do it? 

  • Design of electrical harness 3D models and routing.

  • Design of electrical harness schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram.

  • Design of mechanical 3D models, piping, sheet metal, assemblies.

  • 2D Engineering drawings interpretation and creation.

  • Bom management.

  • Lead Product Agile Design Reviews, Audits, DFMEA, DFMA.

  • Interact with Contract and Product Engineering to understand system interactions and constraints, provide guidance and feedback.

  • Develop root cause analysis, document and solve design issues.

  • Develop and improve design guidelines and processes.

  • Verify design with simulation tools.

What are we looking for?  

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • HVAC experience required.

  • Creo Parametric or similar experience.

  • PLM Windchill experience.

  • SAP experience.

  • Electrical design knowledge.

  • Mechanical design knowledge.

  • Highly organized.

  • Soft skills.

  • Good communication and written skills.

  • Industrial Design, Automotive Design, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Electronic/Electrical Engineers.

  • Previous experience on Design areas required.
