The Designer is responsible for translating current design trends into inspiring and functional kitchen and bath concepts that bring our brands and products to life. From photo shoot sets and showroom displays to marketing campaigns and digital platforms, your designs will shape how customers experience our cabinetry—creating impactful visuals that showcase products, inspire engagement, and drive business success
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trend Translation & Concept Development
· Research and identify kitchen, bath, and home design trends and interpret them into inspiring, brand-aligned designs.
· Develop design concepts that highlight product features, finishes, and innovations in ways that resonate with B2B and B2C target audiences and drive sales.
· Present design ideas and concept boards to brand leaders and other key stakeholders for review and alignment.
Marketing & Creative Support
· Design and stage kitchens, bathrooms, and other spaces for photography, video, and marketing materials (catalogs, brochures, digital ads, and web).
· Partner with brand leaders, creative, product teams, and internal channel partners to ensure designs showcase our cabinetry in the best possible light.
· Provide design input and expertise for special projects, including events and trainings as needed.
Showroom & Display Design
· Develop layouts and visual concepts for showroom vignettes, trade show booths, and dealer displays.
· Collaborate with installation teams and vendors to ensure showroom designs are executed to specification.
· Refresh displays and provide guidance on maintaining a polished, trend-forward appearance.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
· Work closely with marketing, product development, channel leaders, and sales teams to ensure designs align with brand positioning and business objectives.
· Support product launches by creating compelling visual environments that highlight new finishes, door styles, and features.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Bachelor’s degree in interior design, kitchen and bath design, or related field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen design, showroom design, or related field
· Strong knowledge of kitchen design principles, space planning, and material selection.
· Proficiency in 2020 Design (Cyncly).
· Proven ability to interpret design trends and translate them into compelling environments.
· Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Professional certifications such as Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer(CKBD) or National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
· Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
· Experience working with Cabinetworks Group brands or within the cabinetry/home improvement industry
· Experience with rendering software.
· Experience collaborating on photo shoots and showroom/display installations
