About the Role
As our Depot Supervisor at Theale, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient, and sustainable running of our site. You’ll lead a team of skilled colleagues, manage mobile plant team, and work closely with contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high standards, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead & Support Your Team
- Inspire and lead a diverse team with confidence, positivity, and clear communication.
- Create an inclusive working environment where everyone feels respected and supported.
Keep Our Site Safe & Efficient
- Champion our Health & Safety culture and ensure all policies, risk assessments, and safe systems of work are followed.
- Oversee the depot’s daily operations to ensure plant, labour, and materials are used effectively.
Make Things Better – Every Day
- Identify opportunities to improve sustainability across the site.
- Develop planned maintenance schedules to maximise plant availability.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing ideas and modernising processes.
Work Collaboratively
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors, suppliers, and the Operations Manager.
- Ensure smooth scheduling and communication to keep the depot running efficiently.
Grow Your Career
- Take part in ongoing training and CPD to build your skills and achieve your SHE NVQ Level 4 (we’ll support you if you’re not there yet).
