As a Depot Maintenance Program Manager, you’ll provide critical maintenance management and defense mission expertise support to a high-profile USAF Program Management Office to ensure maximized aircraft operational availability and long-term modification and sustainment goals are achieved and maintained for the customer's aircraft fleet.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Provide aircraft maintenance, logistics, sustainment, and program management subject matter expertise for the customer's aircraft fleet.

  • Provide cross-functional collaboration between the responsible Program Offices, End Users, and the platform Original Equipment Manufacturer’s Engineering, Logistics, and Operations teams to resolve critical sustainment challenges while ensuring compliance with USAF requirements.

  • Develop optimized heavy maintenance schedules that best integrate required platform modifications and sustainment activities to achieve maximized aircraft operational availability.

  • Assist the government customer in developing and defending depot-level aircraft heavy maintenance budgets.

  • Develop long-term sustainment roadmaps for aging-aircraft requirements and new acquisition platforms.

You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, logistics, acquisition, and sustainment of USAF aircraft in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate information to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management


Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience working in a high-profile military or government environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Master’s degree in Management

  • Certified Project Management Professional or Acquisition Professional in Life Cycle Logistics Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
