Deposit Resources Analyst II

Position Overview:

The Deposit Resources Analyst II Is responsible for providing support to Credit Union employees and membership in the ongoing development, monitoring, reviewing and updating of all share and deposit related products, materials, policies and procedures across all platforms, including digital and print.  This role will learn all aspects of Deposit Resources.  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • (25%) Content Review
    • Create, maintain, and review updates for all share and deposit related content for both employees and the membership across all platforms, including manuals, QRGs, brochures, websites, promotional materials, training courses, digital workbooks, modules, letters, forms, Account Rules and Regulations, Fees and Terms, etc., as needed.  Includes assisting with the communication and distribution of statement messages and share and deposit account rate changes for SECU and all partner credit unions.
       
  • (25%) Internal and External Communications
    • Create, review, and distribute information effectively through memos, reports, procedures, and documents related to Deposits and Operations. 
       
  • (15%) Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Work with subject-matter experts within all areas of the Credit Union, such as Deposits and Operations, Technical Writing, Marketing, Webcontent, etc. regarding share and deposit related content to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, validity, and accuracy. Includes active participation in Deposits and Operations project meetings.
       
  • (15%) Compliance
    • Work with Deposit Compliance, Compliance, and Legal Services to manage risk and ensure compliance for all share and deposit related content.
       
  • (10%) Quality Review
    • Help identify gaps and inconsistencies in share and deposit related content as policies and procedures are updated/changed.  Includes ensuring all share and deposit related content is correct in tone, style, clarity, grammar, and formatting and is presented in the clearest way to ensure reader comprehension. 
       
  • (10%) Support
    • Work with other employees regarding questions concerning policies, products, and procedures and reinforce training via calls and emails.  Includes assisting with research for member complaints regarding share and deposit related issues and assisting with the written or verbal response.
       

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be well-organized, professional, resourceful, and have a willingness to help others.
  • Able to speak English fluently
  • Possess a positive attitude and seek to foster strong working relationships between branch and operations personnel
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough research to successfully solve problems and trouble-shoot
  • Possess strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and does not require daily supervision
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Attend trainings and certifications as needed

Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • At least one year of SECU experience
  • Solid understanding of the Credit Union, its operations, and financial services offered, including SECU policies and procedures
