The Position

This role is accountable for driving successful deployment, business readiness, user adoption, and value realization of Direct Procurement processes and digital solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA and GEP Nexxe) across regions and business units.

You will ensure that newly designed end-to-end (E2E) Direct Procurement processes are effectively embedded into daily operations by focusing on stakeholder engagement, change management, capability building, governance, and performance tracking.

Acting as the bridge between transformation design and operational execution, you will lead go-live readiness, adoption acceleration, and stabilization efforts within global transformation programs. You will operate in an agile (SAFe) environment, partnering closely with Demand to Pay BPM organisation, IT, and Business stakeholders to ensure sustainable behavioral and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deployment Strategy & Go-Live Readiness

  • Develop and execute structured deployment and rollout strategies for Direct Procurement solutions.

  • Lead go-live readiness assessments including data validation, cutover planning, risk mitigation, and business preparedness.

  • Coordinate hypercare activities and stabilization support post go-live.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise Demand-to-Pay governance and deployment standards.

  • Identify deployment risks and proactively manage mitigation actions.
     

2. Change Management & Adoption Acceleration

  • Develop and execute change management strategies tailored to global and regional audiences.

  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and impact assessments.

  • Define change action plans and adoption roadmaps.

  • Drive communication campaigns to ensure clarity of objectives, benefits, and expected behaviors.

  • Identify and activate change champions and super-user networks.

  • Monitor adoption metrics and address resistance through targeted interventions.
     

3. Training & Capability Building

  • Define and oversee training strategy and learning journeys for Direct Procurement processes and tools.

  • Ensure role-based training materials, SOPs, and digital learning content are developed and maintained.

  • Facilitate training sessions, train-the-trainer programs, and capability workshops.

  • Assess user competency and readiness prior to go-live.

  • Support continuous learning and maturity development post-deployment.
     

4. Governance, Performance & Value Realization

  • Define and monitor adoption KPIs and performance indicators (e.g., system usage, cycle times, compliance, automation rates).

  • Track stabilization progress and ensure sustained process compliance.

  • Support value realization tracking in collaboration with Direct Procurement Leadership Team

  • Capture lessons learned and institutionalize best practices.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement loops based on operational feedback.
     

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and other impacted functions.

  • Act as primary point of contact for deployment and adoption topics within Direct Procurement.

  • Ensure transparent communication between teams.

  • Operate effectively in matrix and cross-cultural environments without formal authority.
     

Qualifications & Experience

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Organizational Development, Change Management, or related field.

Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required  with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or

  • Master’s degree preferable with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in deployment, change management, business readiness, or transformation implementation roles within matrix organizations.

  • Experience in global rollouts of SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environments is required

Specialist Knowledge & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end (E2E) Procurement processes and Demand-to-Pay integration.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or procurement collaboration platforms such as GEP Nexxe.

  • Proven experience leading go-live readiness, hypercare, and stabilization phases.

  • Structured change management expertise; Prosci or similar certification is a plus.

  • Experience defining and tracking adoption KPIs and value realization metrics.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across seniority levels.

  • Ability to design and deliver training programs and learning journeys.

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum) within transformation programs is a plus

  • Strong facilitation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate performance insights into action.

  • High resilience and ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
