Dental Sales Executive; O250 Segment (Hybrid/New England)

Aligned with a team of Cigna Healthcare Sales Professionals, the Dental Sales Executive (DSE) serves as the market leader for dental and vision products, driving growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive dental and vision growth strategy within assigned markets.
  • Achieve or exceed membership growth targets through effective prospecting and broker engagement.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including RFP responses, financial presentations, and implementation oversight.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners to design winning presale strategies and deliver competitive proposals.
  • Provide market insights to influence product development and pricing strategies.
  • Lead broker development initiatives and maintain a strong presence in key verticals such as Government, Education, and Healthcare.
  • Deliver training and coaching to internal sales teams on dental product positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Cigna Dental products through ongoing education and participation in business reviews.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of dental benefits sales experience; proven healthcare sales track record.
  • Licensed Life & Health producer with ability to travel frequently.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work independently in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred:

  • Managed dental sales experience.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Financial acumen and membership growth orientation.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
