This necessitates a leadership role focused on defining, analysing, and validating functional requirements for large and complex projects, aligning closely with customers and other divisions. Success in this role involves evaluating solutions to technical and business problems, providing highly technical or relevant business knowledge, producing, and maintaining conceptual models, and leading business process redesign. Role Overview

SWIFT is seeking  for a Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery and operations of our Atlassian platforms (Jira and Confluence). This role replaces a traditional Product Owner model with a stronger focus on execution, vendor management, and delivery accountability.

You will be responsible for driving platform stability, managing BAU and demand, and ensuring successful delivery of ongoing transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and platform optimization.

This role also includes people and vendor leadership, with responsibility for managing consultants and coordinating across multiple service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Ownership

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Jira and Confluence services
  • Manage and prioritize backlog across BAU, enhancements, and transformation work
  • Ensure delivery timelines, quality, and outcomes are met

2. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage external service providers and consultants
  • Ensure clear scope, accountability, and performance tracking
  • Act as escalation point for delivery issues
  • Drive efficiency and cost optimization

3. Platform Operations (Run)

  • Oversee incident and service request management
  • Ensure SLAs are met and platform stability is maintained
  • Identify and reduce recurring issues
  • Drive automation and standardization to reduce manual workload

4. Demand & Change Management

  • Govern incoming requests and enhancements
  • Ensure proper scoping and prioritization
  • Balance BAU, enhancements, and transformation work

5. Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Support and drive Atlassian Cloud migration
  • Lead standardization of workflows, templates, and governance
  • Identify automation opportunities and improve user experience

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for business and engineering teams
  • Provide clear updates to leadership
  • Manage expectations, priorities, and escalations

7. Team & People Leadership

  • Provide direction to internal team members and consultants
  • Ensure clear roles, ownership, and accountability
  • Support onboarding and capability development

Minimum Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience in delivery management, program management, or IT service delivery
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of enterprise platforms or applications
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (user, admin, or delivery oversight level)
  • Experience managing external vendors or service providers
  • Experience operating BAU and transformation work in parallel
  • Strong understanding of incident, request, and change management processes
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
