  • Proactive Issue Prevention: Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issues before they impact mission-critical operations.

  • Customer Advocacy: Gain a deep understanding of the customer's technical infrastructure, hardware, and strategic goals to serve as their primary advocate within Red Hat.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Red Hat Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to debug, test, and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Guidance: Provide advice and guidance to customers about their current and future Red Hat products, specifically focusing on container orchestration and cloud-native solutions.

  • Case Management: Manage customer cases, maintain clear and concise case documentation, and deliver value to customers by documenting and sharing learnings through a defined knowledge management process.

What you bring:

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Government clearance is required.

  • OpenShift & Linux Expertise: 5+ years of Linux system administration experience, with specific hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift administration (Day 2 Ops), including installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting.

  • Container Proficiency: Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes), container registries, and micro-services architecture.

  • Support Background: Prior experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization, particularly within the public sector.

  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely.

  • Agility: Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with an eye for detail and shifting priorities.

  • Local Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to commute between multiple customer sites in the Denver/Boulder area.

  • Availability: Willingness to provide after-hours coverage (on-call duty) as needed.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline; Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.

The salary range for this position is $107,980.00 - $172,730.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
